To save power, I usually power off the monitor when leave. Sometimes I also use Windows Remote Desktop to connect to the remote machine when its monitor has been powered off. It is known that when Windows Remote Desktop is launched, the screen of the remote machine is at Windows login for security protection purpose (I hope TeanViewer can learn this function). If both conditions are true and if I tried to connect the remote machine using TeanViewer, the screen would be all black. Perhaps a cause of all-black screen is that the remote screen remains the static Windows login so there is no refresh signal. So, is there any way to avoid the all-black screen when 1) the monitor is power off 2) Windows is at the login screen? Thanks.
