For a couple of years now I have been helping my elderly father with his PC problems (which he seems to generate on a regular basis !) using TeamViewer.
It's proved an invaluable way of helping him from afar .. and has been pretty stable for all that time.
He has recently changed his internet supplier, including a new router. This has caused all sorts of fun and games .. but today I tried to help him through TeamViewer and we came to a grinding halt.
If I open my copy of the software it takes maybe 5 or 10 seconds to obtain a secure connection (I'd not noticed a delay before, but that's ok), he on the other hand is not getting a connection at all.
It's been working brilliantly and now it's not. Any ideas welcome.
