I used to be a commercial user (like v11 times) and commonly used teamviewer on intel compute sticks for an IoT application. In this case, it was important that the password be retained through a power cycle.

now, I'm trying to do the same thing with the free version (v15) and note that the password is not maintained through power cycle even with the "boot with windows" box checked. I observe the same operation on a laptop or on my compute sticks.

so, has the feature policy changed between versions? or is this a feature of the free version?

Hello @twilkers,

To have a fixed password that doesn't change, you can set up an unattended password.

However, for this use case, we recommend connecting Easy Access for a secured TeamViewer usage.

I have an issue with the "grant easy access" part of this. I'm trying to set this up on a small IoT device that doesn't have email (really I don't want to add email to it).

using my login, I get the email sent to my laptop and click the link. however, what is registered is my laptop and not the IoT device.

so, how can I resolve this?
