Hi guys
We've been using the Asset Management portion of TeamViewer for a while now whilst trying to establish if it will do what we currently do with Datto (CentraStage). Like what we're seeing atm but I have a couple of questions and hopefully someone will be able to advise:
We have a number of patches that are greyed out for devices. I'm aware that these could mean we need to log onto the machines and "finish" the work on them directly but some of these patches go back to June 2020 and the Details button provides no info on what the patch is for. They are Windows 10 patches and are about 5-6GB in size (so I'm assuming these are the June and October 2020 Updates but these appear to be on our machines). We've also noticed that Java Runtime Environment 8.0 (Bulletin ID JAVA8-281) is also showing this way but we already have this installed on the machines. How do we sort this out on the Management Console so that this doesn't happen and the patches that need installed are the only ones showing?
We also have a couple of patches that we're not planning on installing so is there a way to remove these from the Management Console (essentially to acknowledge we know about them but we're choosing to ignore these for now)?
Recently the TeamViewer version stopped appearing in the TeamViewer column on Devices (for those with Host installed). Any idea if that is by design?
Thanx for any advice offered guys.
Steven
