I just updated my TVQS to v15.14.5 and have noticed several (unpleasant) things:
- It takes several more seconds before TVQS displays the partner ID. Older versions filled-in the PID within one or two seconds of the TVQS app appearing on the screen. Now it takes longer. Enough longer in fact that my clients all start telling me there's the red (no connection) dot.
- Upon first execution, the client now has to click an "I agree" box! Seriously?!?!? After 14 prior versions, TV now decided it's necessary to make the remote end accept a bloody EULA? Even though I am the license holder and not the (remote end) client? Please UNDO this needless extra step that generates questions from my clients!
- Prior to this latest update, I could terminate my remote session (when I was done) by clicking "cancel" on the client-end TVQS window and the session would immediately terminate. Very neat and clean. Now, when I click cancel (on the remote TVQS), I see the TVQS window disappear but I am *still connected* for several seconds. Then it drops. But on my end, the window stays open, displaying the last remote screen and hangs. Eventually it'll timeout and close. But it's not nearly as graceful as before.
I'm a 10+ year paid TV user. Every new version seems bloatier and slower than before and makes me regret performing the update.
