I have a setup with 2 monitors on my host. The primary is a 4k monitor, the second monitor is 1080p. I have the 4k monitor set to scale to 125% in Windows 10 settings. Teamviewer opens on my primary monitor, I can't change that behaviour, which I'd regard as a bug. When I drag a window of a remote computer desktop from the main monitor to the secondary the displayed resolution becomes fuzzy, exacerbated when I set it to full screen. Given that I am displaying a remote resolution of 1080p on a 1080p host display I don't see why this should be the case.
If I could force Teamviewer to open all its windows on my secondary monitor I suspect this issue would go away as that monitor is not scaled by Windows settings. If I remove scaling on my primary monitor and go again, when I drag the remote desktop window to my secondary monitor there is no problem. Unforunately I need the primary monitor to be scaled as I am old and my eyes are dim.
Is there any solution to this or any changes in the pipeline to fix?
edit: If I boot Windows with no scaling set, then go to settings and change to 125% scaling on the main monitor, Teamviewer behaves as I would like - the remote window when dragged to my second monitor fills the screen and does not require me to change it to full screen.
