How to apply my Teamviewer 10 license to my account for upgrade to 15

I have a paid Teamviewer 10 license which is now being depreciated. I was told I can upgrade to Teamviewer 15 but it seams that the only way to do this is it install Teamviewer 10, apply the license code, then update it to 15. Is there some way to get this subscription applied in to my account so it can be installed on my computers?

Once this is done, you will be able to use TeamViewer 15 by logging into your TeamViewer account.
