Not sure if this is the right place, running teamviewer/tensor Basic, 5 Admins 900 users or so. We are deploying teamviewer host as msi as part of our Intune/autopilot builds. This week users have advised that they no longer get shown the 6 digit password for connection. It turns out that the default option seems to have changed to disabled. We can resolve this by going to security settings and turning on password random 6 character option, but as we have about 400 devices out at the moment was hoping to be able to send a regedit to enable this option again. We have not setup Domain/SSO currently, is using SSO and Profiles going to be the only way of resolving this?
When set to disabled we get a registry entry security_passwordstrength registry setting set to 0x3 but when I set to use 6 character random this registry entry vanishes and does not seem to be replaced with anything.
