Hi,
I would like some help please regarding the WOL. I want to be able to wake up my PC at home so a REMOTE WOL is what I need.
I understand I need to sign up with NOIP for a domain that is fine I don't mind paying for this and have my router keep the public IP updated on my NOIP account.
I understand that TeamViewer can wake up a PC from an always on machine. I have a few questions please.
1) Please can you confirm if I install the TeamViewer application on my Synology NAS on my home network (which is always on) if the NAS can wake up my target PC on my internal network or does it have to be a pc?
2) Further, can the target pc be turned on via WOL even if it doesn't have an Ethernet cable connected to the the NAS or doesn't this matter?
3) Can I do this using the free personal license since this is just personal use?
