Can't get to TeamViewer Preferences. Says: authentication required and needs a password on MacOS

It's a clean install, so I have no idea what the password is.

You can bypass this by doing the Manual Uninstallation of TeamViewer on your mac by following this procedure:

https://community.teamviewer.com/English/kb/articles/4165-how-do-i-uninstall-teamviewer-on-my-mac#manual-uninstallation

And reinstalling the software again.
