Teamviewer re-enables touchpad

I attempted to post this before but there is no way to trace my question: -

so having spent a RIDICULOUS ammount of time negotiating the login farce; -

PLEASE - why does Teamviewer automatically re-enable my touchpad when I hook up to another pc?

and how do I PREVENT such occurences?

I have spasticity in my right hand and arm - (the left limb is fine...) so I CANNOT operate my laptop if the touchpad is operational.

Please note I URGRNTLY require resolution to this issue, thank you.
