Unable to CLEAR password from password field
The ID and the password now auto-populate for some reason. I think I clicked "save" or "remember" password on a past remote control meeting. Now I can't enter any new passwords provided to me from the other end. My account randomly puts in passwords but of course not the right one. What can I do to change this setting so that I can again enter unique passwords???

You can do this in the Security tab of the TeamViewer's options:
This will replace the random password by a hyphen:
Now, you need to make sure to set up the permanent password correctly. To do so, please follow this procedure:

Hello @eskimopi,
The above-mentioned instructions explain how to disable the random password, in other words "to get the hyphen instead of a password".
If you want to have a random password displayed, please select one of the below-indicated password options.
I hope this could help. 🍀
