Leaving a session wherein I connected to her iMac and did some work on it, I cannot shut down her computer because I have to first "force quit" TeamViewer first, breaking my connection, leaving me with no way to shut the iMac down.
On my own all of my friend's Windows 10 machines, I can shut down those PCs first, which of course peacefully breaks the connection. Why is the iMac different?
Before the latest TeamViewer upgrade on her iMac that I did several weeks ago, neither of us could "force quit" TeamViewer!! After upgrading to the latest TeamViewer version, I still cannot shut down her iMac because it requires that I must first "force quit" TeamViewer first. Now she can force quit TeamViewer but she's angry about going into her office hours later and still finding TeamViewer needed a "force quit" to shut of her iMac.
Now she's insisting that I remove TeamViewer altogether from her iMac, making it impossible for me to ever help her.
What is wrong? Why doesn't TeamViewer on her iMac require that a "force quit" is required?
