How can I control a tablet

Hi this is for me not business wise. I am trying to install teamviewer on my father's tablet and when I open the app all I see is Control Remote Device and it want's a Partner ID. This tablet is the remote not the controlling unit my laptop is. What am I doing wrong that I can't see a Partner ID and control it with my Laptop not the other way around

I did that I connected but I can't see the desktop just the message area

Truly, TeamViewer isn't the best option for remotely controlling smart devices... To be sure, there is no way to remote control an Apple device - ipad or iphone. [removed per Community Guidelines]

Hi @DODO1962

I think what you are looking for is the TeamViewer QuickSupport app (or the Host). In the Header Menu under Service --> Download I added links to both iOS and Android 🙌 There, just watch out for QuickSupport!
