need an answer to this teamviewer question in order to help my granny

So my granny lives alone and has an iPad that she uses to video call with friends and family. She is not capable of doing much of anything besides answering the video calls. She has been very bored lately and I will occasionally drive over there to pull up some nature documentary or video lecture for her to watch, she loves them to pass the time and I need a better way to set her up with these things without needing to dive over there.

My question is, if I buy her an nice android tablet(because I know ios doesn't let you do anything when it comes to this) and get the free version of teamviewer on my PC and her android tablet, is there a way to set it up so that i can remote in unattended to her android tablet and control it from my end so I can do what i need to do and pull up content for her to consume. The optimal scenario would be if she didn't have to intervene at all, no entering a session key or whatever, because like I said, the less she has to do the better as she cant even type on a touch screen. She can keep it charged and powered on and such, but I need the ability to remote in and take control to set her up with stuff unattended by her, can I do this with the free version? I know I probably can with a paid version but I would really rather not

thanks for any advise.

    Hi @Andylon,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community✨😊

Considering your case along with security concerns, we recommend easy access settings for unattended access!

As this setting requires account assignment to the device you are going to connect, the remote device can be tied with the account.

Therefore, this setting allows a remote session without passwords as long as you are using the same TeamViewer account credentials for both sign-in on the local device and account assignment on the remote device.

Regarding easy access settings, please kindly check our knowledge article:

Additionally, we have some guides regarding Android devices.

Kindly ask you to check them out before purchasing the device. You may find useful information!

    Hope this would be helpful🍀
