Latest version 15.25.8 x64 gives white window

I have just updated TeamViewer from 15.22.x on a machine running Windows 10 22H1 x64. The machine is a ThinkPad T-520 with all machine-specific drivers installed. The previous version worked fine. Installing this version, upon opening, I get a splash window with a 22% off ad, and after that is cleared, all I get is a white window, not the usual TeamViewer UI.

I have:

  1. Reinstalled from scratch after uninstalling, deleting Program File directories, and removing Registry Current User and Local Machine Software keys.
  2. Run Windows System File Checker (some files fixed, and on a second run no errors)
  3. Run Windows Checkdisk (no errors).

Any suggestions for fixing this, short of a clean reload of Windows (which I probably need to do anyway.).
