Unable to disable remote input and show black screen
I'm connected from my laptop to an Android device with unattended access through Team Viewer Host on the receiving Android device. I want to disable any input from the device and show a black screen during the connection, so I selected the said option for that device. However, when I attempt to connect after applying the change, the remote device can still receive input and display its screen throughout the connection. I've even confirmed that the settings for the device do indicate that "Disable remote input and show black screen" is selected. Attached is the photo of the menu where the option can be toggled. The brand and model of the device is available too.

Hello @Enoch_Moke,
The Black Screen feature is only compatible on Windows, macOS and Linux devices.
As you are trying to activate it on an Android device, it can't be working.
You can find more info about it here:
I hope this could at least answer your question. 🌻

I see. Thank you for the answer. In view of that, are there any practices or security measures that can ensure an Android device doesn't get any input or observation during the course of an unattended access?
Thank you very much.

For the moment, there is no proper feature that would prevent obervation during the course of an unattended access on Android.
If you are interested in such a feature, you can always your idea in the Ideas hub:
