Forgot Windows password

My Mum has forgotten her Windows password as she only uses a pin number. I know if I restart her computer I can enter this code remotely does this mean I can also run through the 'forgot my password' security questions using a remote connection? She is disabled and operates her computer using Dragon only. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Thank you for your response. I believe you're right but I won't test it out in case the remote computer requires a physical response to finish the process, it could leave the laptop unusable. I'll try to get it tested and come back to you. Thanks again.

Hello @Tallulah,

I am not sure getting through a Windows password reset process will be possible via TeamViewer, as Windows prevents the capture of specific security areas.

It's always good to give it a try... but in my experience, some areas might not be reachable/seeable via TeamViewer.
