How to disable TeamViewer status dialog open at logon

Recently, on logon to the desktop the TeamViewer status dialog is already running, minimized, and its' icon is displayed in the dock (the favorites bar/dash) on the left as well as in the top bar.
Not so long ago, it appeared only in the top bar at logon and, iirc, there was a selectable property that enabled/disabled the status dialog opening at logon.
If the status dialog is closed the icon in the dock disappears and the icon in the top bar remains. This is expected and it is how the desktop used to appear on logon. Top bar had TeamViewer icon, the status dialog was not open and the dock had no TeamViewer icon.
Is there a way to get this behavior back?
