I want to connect my Mac (with Teamviewer Full version) to support an old person's Android phone ( with Teamviewer Host installed).
It appears to me that when creating a Teamviewer account, that i wil be considered a Commercial user.
Thanks for the valuable response but it does not really answer my original question. I am completely new to Teamviewer. I still have the question whether creating an account to have full functionality available to me, can be done without automatically being treated as commercial user.
Lerpo,
I am far from being knowledgeable with Teamviewer. BUT I think where my problem stems from is the Teamviewer version is for ARMv7 not ARMv8 architecture. I have the latter. Teamviewer version I am using is 15.27.3 H and only for access by another computer. This I did not want. I want to access other computers also like I can on the amd64 free versions. I had to create an account to install on armv8 whereas on the amd64 version i did not. So i am wondering why. Sorry i can't help but maybe there is something in what ive said may help.

If I am not mistaken your Android phone has ARMv7 or ARMv8 architecture. Might be worth checking phone. Good luck.
Thanks, I will check.
Hi, I have a similar problem..sort of... I installed on to 2 x amd64 ( Debian 11.2 and Linux Mint 20.04 LTS) machines the FREE TEAMVIEWER. Both done online via Google Remote Desktop then once Teamviewer was installed Google RD was removed. Teamviewer worked brilliantly and fast. Well done Teamviewer. The problem I have run into after installing (as per Teamviewer instructions) Teamviewer on a Pi4 arm64 is that it did not permit a FREE version where you can either access another computer or allow yours to be accessed but only a GUI for a HOST access ALLOW REMOTE CONTROL only with an ID number. I had to create an account. It is for personal use only. Not commercial. So, why do the amd64 machines use the GUI with the two options available but after installing on arm64 it has to be a commercial version that only can be used as a HOST? I am new to Teamviewer so please be gentle on me with your explanation. 😉 Thank you.
