Renaming Default TV Remote Computers

As we all know when you setup a remote computer in TV it assigns a random number as the remote PC name, this might be fine for those with photographic memories but for those of us who do not possess such a power it would be nice to rename them to something we can recognize immediately.

Does anyone know how to change the default remote computer name to something more user friendly? (Prefer a solution that doesnt require having to use the online account, want to keep it local)

I understand where you are coming from.

Unfortunately, if you want to manage devices via TeamViewer, you will need to use the TeamViewer account.

I still hope that you will find a way!

Thank you for the feedback but your solution seems to require being logged into my account online. The issue is that I consider any online configuration or control to be a security issue and as such the solution, if one, needs to be local without having to be logged in. Thanks again for the info.
