Has anyone actually had success installing Teamviewer with all the parameters available following the guides.

I have tried more or less EVERYTHING, customconfigID, Grant-easy-access etc. etc. and I am on the edge about this installer setup and wish there were alternatives.. in the old days it was working, but the last years it has gotten terrible.

I want a simple setup, where I do not have to do the most simple step manually every time we install this application.

Start with Windows
Control this computer
accept incomking LAN connections
auto register application and get rid of the Free license notice
Allow windows logon..

Nope, it's broken.

We are deploying TV through intune and it worked perfectly for years.

Now all new machines get unassigned TV host installs without proper settings, groups, policys

ohh.. I had hoped for something better :-D

I finally managed to install it by script with a few working settings and assign the installation to our portal. But the local installation is still unlicensed and people are being annoyed with a Free License and trial license merchandise etc.

We have been with Teamviwer since version 4 and over the years the product install have gone from ok to out-of-scale on the bad side.. - a real shame..

Update!

Well, looks like time just needs to pass and things go into order... today the Free license notification is gone now.

Here is my script if anyone can make use of it.

this part just doesnt do anything for me.

tv still asks to login to assign blabla

Was TV previous installed? - I found that if it was installed it would fail with that part and had to uninstall all TV products.

I have all my settings/ policies in TV Management Console Portal and created a brand new Full installation under Design & Deploy. Downloaded the 32-bit zip file with Teamviewer_full.msi

You might have to double check that teamviewer is installed in %programfiles(x86)% - the guide refers to full path which is different from our setup.

If you are using the host.msi, you might have to create a new Host-deployment with new ConfigID's etc. Thats how I managed to get a few steps further, just with the full.msi
