Send ctrl+alt+del is grayed out

When I remote into a client's Windows 2003 server, the "Send Ctrl+Alt+Del" button is grayed out.  Any idea why?

Since you are answering a very old post, please allow me to first ask you which TeamViewer version are you using on both devices and your operating systems. Please check here the latest available version for your operating systems:

As a second step, please also check the settings (remote control) in your TeamViewer client (gear icon ⚙️--> advanced --> advanced settings for connections to this computer).
