Can't connect to debian 11 x86_64 host after update to TV 15.30.3
Hello,
I have a Debian 11 x86_64 host that has been updated to TeamViewer 15.30.3, but I can't connect to remote display to it due to a crash. The user log file contains line :
DX0!!!Crash: Coredump has been written at '/home/myself/.local/share/teamviewer15/logfiles/TeamViewer_Desktop_FI_15.30.3_2022-06-02-083729.amd64.core', Errorcode=11
File transfert does not work as well.
What can I do to get teamviewer working again on this computer ?

Hello @MaitreDede ,
Thank your message! 😃
We had other users reporting similar issue... Does your GUI also gets frozen?
A new feature that was recently implemented had some reports of "connection issues" and "TeamViewer stop responding". The feature is Play computer sounds and music
I wish I could just say for you to open the Options and check if it's marked or not, but if GUI is not clickable, you would need to try downgrading to version 15.18.4 using the command line below → uncheck this feature → update TeamViewer to the newest version again, and check if it's any better.
(for Debian-Ubuntu-Linux mint-Deepin-Raspberry Pi only)
- the command to downgrade TeamViewer is:
sudo apt install teamviewer=15.18.4
- if you have the TeamViewer Host then it be
sudo apt install teamviewer-host=15.18.4
Let me know if this solves the problem or if the issue persists. 🙋♀️

I can confirm that. Downgrading to previous version fixed the problem for me.

Hello Carol,
Checked or unchecked on the client side does not make a difference : the client is stuck at "session initializing".
On serverside, changing the parameter does not make any difference either.
Installing version 15.18.4 works. Also the previous 15.29.4 works. I will hold package at 15.29.4 until next update :)
Thanks ;)

Hello @MaitreDede ,
Thanks for the additional feedback! I really appreciate it! ✨
Our development team is currently investigating what may be causing these connectivity issues.
👉 Waiting for the next update seems to be the best option at the moment.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Best,
