Teamviewer Host mobile - identify device

Hello!

I have managed to deploy Teamviewer host for mobile using our MDM solution and after deploying the host with parametres, the device is added to "My computers and devices" list to teamviewer. However it is impossible to identify which device is which since the device is added a device model, for example Samsung-A20e.

Any advice on this?

@tuomasrFIN Defining names for your mobile devices in a deployment context will depend on which MDM you are using.

Can I ask you which MDM you are using?

You would need to use the ApiToken and DeviceName through AppConfig.

In this scenario, the DeviceName could be %username%, but it depends on which parameters the Duostation offers.

We have the Partnerlist device name in the appconfig settings but what kind of possibilities we have to fetch for example a phone number or some other information from the mobile phone? We tried %username% but it only created a device to "computers and contacts" list to teamviewer showing %username%, not fetching any information to that.

That will depend on which value types for the configuration key "partnerlist device name" your MDM is supporting.

If some variables can be used, then certain info about the phone can be automatically added to the Computer and Contacts device name after the deployment.
