How do I stop windows moving around on server ID disconnect?

I have a problem. I connect via Server ID. Every time that I get disconnected from the Server, the Server goes crazy moving the windows around everywhere. So when I reconnect I must close my existing programs and open them again and their files so that the windows are restored.

I can only think that somehow the screen resolution changes when this happens. To something smaller. I have an advanced setting in the Teamviewer profile of the Connection of 1600x1200 for the server.

Did you try to set the resolution to "Best fit" in the advanced settings?

I'm not sure, what do you mean? I need to keep it at 1600x1200 resolution (advanced resolution).. it works fine except for this windows moving around upon disconnection problem. When you reconnect it is again 1600x1200 resolution, the problem is just the windows are out of place and smaller than before.

My suggestion is to enforce a different try another resolution setting (like the Best fit resolution setting) on your device, so we can see if it fixes the issue.

I have an ultrawide, best fit will be huge and take more bandwidth. I really want to use 1600x1200 but I suspect if I set it to any resolution higher than whatever the resolution it resets temporarily to that I would have this problem. I am not against going to 1600xlonger than 1200.. e.g 1600x1400.. but i don't think that would help
