With the normal TV you can set the external resolution on "Inherit" under advanced options. Where can I do the same under Tensor?

It has, for my case, nothing to do with managed groups. I found out that when I restart Teamviewer and go directly to settings for a specific device, I can change all the settings. Once I have connected only once it is not possible anymore and I have to shut down TV again to get there.
It is a bug I guess. I hope this answers your question.

After discussing with our engineers, I could come back with an answer.
The device you are trying to edit is part of a Managed group. As the device technically is assigned to your Company profile and not your user account, you are not able to edit it.
What you can do is to add manually the device to your Computers and Contacts list in an extra group.
You will be then able to edit and set up your preferred resolution setting.
