How to make my laptop work again because of deleting TeamViewer

Last week, I deleted the TeamViewer app on my laptop as I didn’t need to use my TeamViewer app anymore. However, I did it in the wrong way. I directly dragged the app into the trash can. Afterwards, my laptop collapsed. I later downloaded a TeamViewer.dmg file from another laptop and transfer it onto my USB. Then, I tried to transfer the app from my USB to my laptop using a code format. I tried it multiple times but it still didn’t work. If there’s anything I am not doing right, could you guys remind me as soon as possible? If you guys have a better solution, could you also inform me as soon as possible? Thank you!

The answer provided by @MoreCoffee explains how to resolve such an issue if the TeamViewer app is incorrectly uninstalled via deletion.

Alright, it looks like a plausible solution. Could you tell me what will happen if I mount Macintosh HD? Does that mean all the files whithin my Macintosh HD will be preserved? I have a lot of important files in this disk and I must make sure they will be preserved after I restart my laptop.

Thanks for your post.

We would be unable to provide technical assistance regarding how macOS works in such a situation, as this did not occur due to a TeamViewer issue but the method of deletion and how macOS works overall, as @MoreCoffee mentions in their posts.

However, looking at the linked thread, I do not see any mentions of loss of data, as the issue is a security file was deleted and macOS does not provide a warning when such files are deleted.

I would recommend taking the solution provided by @MoreCoffee in the solved thread to a trusted computer technician, who can help with the implementation of the commands to resolve the issue.

They should be able to answer any questions about mounting the hard drive and running the commands.
