    Hi @SpicersKen ,

Welcome to our Community and congrats for your first post.🙌

According to what I understand from your post, the lack of remote control on your android tablet could be due to different reasons.

I would recommend as a first step to verify that the manufacturer is compatible with Teamviewer in the following list 👉️ Supported manufacturers for remotely controlling Android devices.

If it is compatible and the manufacturer works with us 👨‍🔧 and you still can't control it, I would recommend you to install our Universal Addon.

..... and last but not least please take a look in this link 💡 FAQ : Remote control for Android, here you will find important hints that can help you.

Please let us know if you found useful all the information sent.

Hi, I'm trying to stage a new Pixel 6, Android versions 6, but 'Remote Control' is not working. All I can get is:

The other tabs work fine, it's just the 'Remote Control' tab that is not working.

I'm running the TeamViewer console on a Windows 10 laptop. The console says it is 'up to date', the Host application (and add-on) were just reinstalled today - Host version 15.31.117. The phone has been rebooted several times also.

I've also installed and reinstalled the Host app and add-on on my current phone, that has generally worked quite well. I did try installing the Host app (on my current phone), without the 'add-on' and that results in a similar problem - the other tabs work but not the remote control tab. As expected I guess.

They are different phones, different android versions, and the working phone is right next to me, the non-working phone is on the other side of the world.

I've tried reviewing the log files, tried comparing a working session to a non-working session, but nothing there that has been helpful (to me).

I did have this issue once with my current phone, I deleted the Host app and the add-on, reinstalled and everything worked fine. But no such luck with the Pixel.

The Pixel is (for the most part) fresh out of the box, the installed apps (with the exception the host app and add-on) have not been updated. I was hoping to do that remotely, the person that is helping me with this on the other end is growing a bit frustrated.

Any thoughts, experiences or input would be appreciated. I know that this stuff does/can/will work, but just having some trouble right now. Thanks!

@MikeMcD did you try to install QuickSupport on your phone instead of the Host?

Maybe you could check if it's working better with QuickSupport.
