Run only mode, Easy Access not granted

Hello,

I'm using TeamViewer free version on Run only mode, so I don't have TeamViewer installed. I also changed the network settings for Incoming LAN connections to 'accept exclusively' so that way it TeamViewer will only work on the LAN instead of going through the internet.

My question is, it says 'Easy Access not granted', and I need to install TeamViewer to allow Easy Access. Is there a way to allow easy access without installing TeamViewer on the client computers?

Welcome to the TeamViewer Community!

The Easy Access feature only works via Internet. As long as you are in LAN-only mode, the feature will not work.

If you want to use it, you will need to set the LAN connections to Desactivated.

May be I said it wrong, but I was able to get the easy access to work on a computer that have internet connection, but on the TeamViewer, I set the 'Incoming LAN connectors to accept exclusively. Then I was able to remote in via the private IP of that computer. Only after I installed TeamViewer. It did not work in 'Run only mode'.

Is there way to make it work without installing the TeamViewer, and by only using the 'Run only mode'?

Sorry for the late reply.

I could not reproduce any issues in the scenario you described.

I ran TeamViewer in "Run-only mode", set LAN connections to "accept exclusively" and could successfully connect my two devices.

Are you running into a specific error message? Could you share more information about the issue you have when trying to connect in LAN-only mode?
