I have a free license for remotely accessing my mother's computer on occasion. I have it setup for unattended access, which works fine for me. My brother, who also has a free license, wants unattended access as well. I added my brother as a contact, and shared the group containing my mother's computer with him, giving him "full control". This group now contains just two entries: my mother's computer and my brother as a contact. If I edit my brother's contact entry, I can see that the proper group is shared with him. Unfortunately, he is still unable to connect unattended; Teamviewer continues to ask him for the password from my mother's computer.
My understanding is that by sharing the group with my brother, he should inherit the same unattended access as I, the owner, have. Am I missing something? Do I also need to add myself as a contact to this group? Is this group sharing feature only supported for paid licenses?
I did see elsewhere that one fix (for paid license users) was to delete and then reinstate sharing of the group with a contact, which I did for my brother's contact.
Thanks.
