Apple remote desktop entering password

When connected to a Mac with Teamviewer and trying to connect to a LAN server using apple remote desktop, the user password is not accepted. When trying to paste the password from clipboard, just one character is entered and also not valid.

This just happens within a remote Teamviewer session. Direct use of Apple remote desktop works fine.

What happens?
