I have used Lan "exclusive" for years with no issues and today after an update my machines does not recognize my remote IP numbers.

    In order to find out the cause of the LAN issue, may I ask some questions about your connection settings, please?

    • Did you recall if the update was on TeamViewer? Is it the latest version of TeamViewer v15.34.4 on both sides? • Have you tried to re-apply the setting on LAN connection on TeamViewer?
    • Are both devices remain in the same network?

  • Hello, yesterday I have updated my MacOS teamviewer version to latest. Since the update I cannot connect to my local PC via IP address anymore. Every time I try to connect I get an error message that the ID entered is not valid. I can connect to this PC from another pc on local network without a problem. It seems that the MacOS version has some bug. Is there any workaround?

    Hello,

    Looking for some direction here regarding LAN only connectivity. I have an iPad connecting to a Win10 laptop. Functionality works fine by using the IP address of laptop connecting via the iPad.

    The iPad and laptop are on the same network, same wifi router/switch, again it works great.

    The problem comes into play when the network does not have internet (I unplug inet cable from the WAN port).

    From the iPad, the "Remote Control" button is grayed out. Again, I can ping, SMB, etc, etc from one host to the other, but cant connect via TV.

    Any idea of how I can get this to work?

    The setup is on a boat that goes offshore, and wont have internet capability, the Win10 laptop is used for navigation software, and the iPad is used to view the screen remotely.

    Thank you for your message!

    Our support team identified a LAN issue with TeamViewer  v15.34.4.

    • As a workaround, could you try starting the remote connection using the top connection bottom of your TeamViewer?
