Easy Access to a Windows 11 Pro (22H2) does not work

I have a Win 10 Pro and a Win 11 Pro machine. I can do easy access from the 11 to the 10, but I can not Easy Access from the Win 10 to the 11

I have seen posts about turning off UDP in advanced. I tried that with out help.

The Windows 10 TV saying

Connecting, then Authenticating.... waits a while then times out.

Even trying to Remote control with the password or the Prompt for confirmation have the same - the Windows 10 sticks at Authenticating and then stops. There is nothing appears on the Windows 11 to suggest teamviewer access is being attempted. Team viewer is running. Like I said I can go from the 11 machine and Easy access Win 10, but not the other way round.

Any help

As an additional comment - to rule out the firewall on my Windows 11 machine - I disabled it for a few minutes to see if that helped, and still no connected.

I do sometimes get the Prompt on the win 11 machine when I chose the Remote Control - prompt for confirmation on the wino 10 machine. But even though I select accept on the windows 11, the windows 10 just says authenticating and then times out.

  • install clean, i have no problems doing easy access to 22h2 machines.

  • I have the same issue since installing 11 22h2 on machines I connect to remotely. The trouble is, most fixes suggested means being able to physically access them, but since I cannot, I dont know what can be suggested to help regain my remote connection. I still have remote access to 1 of 3 machines on the network, but it has installed the v11, I just have not yet rebooted the PC so still have a connection. I cannot even revert to an older version of TV as that will also mean I lose my connection. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
