I have an elderly in-law overseas that needs PC assistance.
What I'd like to do is take control of her PC (temporarily) and with her permission of course do some PC maintenance, download, and install preventive applications like AVS. This will likely be a one or two off until I set things up. I can show her where to go (on screen) by following me on her PC which is easier for her than watching YouTube videos.
As far as I'm concerned, I need simplicity. I have Windows 11, she has Windows 10. How complicated is it to run TeamViewer (trial version) to accomplish what I need?
Or is there another free remote networking option?
