Upgraded to 15x, so slow and buggy

I recently updated all of my LAN PCs to TeamViewer 15.2-15.3, coming from 13x. I figured that the upgrade would make things faster so why not.
Sadly, I quickly see that the lag is almost unbearable, and the copy+paste bug makes working between the PCs virtually impossible.
The copy/paste bug has been documented one here several times, but still isn't fixed.
It's ridiculously easy to replicate...
1) Open 2x TeamViewer instances.
2) Copy an item from Excel (seems to break it quickly).
3) Paste in one.
4) Attempt to paste in the other
5) Copy/paste is now completely broken, and you have to restart close/re-open the connections.
6) If not broken, try it a few more times, 100% chance it will work.
Is there anyway to speed this version of TeamViewer up? Or do I need to start looking for alternatives, also, is there any plans to fix the copy/paste bug? It's unbearable.
Note: My settings are fully optimized (the same as TV13), and of course, clipboard sync is checked.
