Cannot drag and drop across dual monitors

I am using mac os Monterey 12.6.3 on both local and remote computers and Teamviewer v 15.39.5. Local machine has 2 monitors and remote is an iMac with monitor emulator. I am not able to move windows, folders, files, or layers across monitors seamlessly. I move a window across the monitor until it hits the cursor, then I must grab it from the other monitor and drop it. There is no drag and drop across the monitors in one motion. I can't accept this as the norm. Fix anyone?

I've been having the same problem off and on since last year. I submitted a ticket for it and it's been open for months with no resolution. Did you find some way to fix it?
