How do I disable host audio without stopping remote machine audio?

Good morning, the reason i'm writing this message is because A friend who takes his android tablet to the university says that teamviewer automatically disables the host machine audio, and reproduces it to his tablet. however, it doesn't happen in my case for some reason, and i dont know how to achieve the same result. Is there any setting i can change, or app to donwload to achieve the same result?
