just to ventilate my experiences; I have been using TeamViewer for 15 year now. Of course i have tried to keep up with the new options, just to realise that I dont want new flashy options, I just want to take over a device my custumer has problems with, and nothing more. No need for unexpected change of login passwords, no unuseful reports, slow transfer, slow connection, adding hosts fails regulary, limited access because a other session is stuck, no pop up alerts, etc.
I'm seriously thinking of leaving Team Viewer . Right now I m testing some alternatives.
Sure , teamviewer is very big, and wont miss my 1114 euro's I pay to them every year. But they must realise that for 1114 euro's I expect a clean slick trustfully solution, and not a bloggy slow gambly one, where even adding a device used to be 10 seconds before, and now it could take 10 minutes. And why did they come up with that ridiculous option that the customer can change the password because the popup is telling him to so?
Sorry if I sound a bit frustrated, but TeamViewer used to be a good easy to use tool, but somewhere they hired some *bleep* to come up with for instance the device checks. Who is using that? Who needs that? Surely there will be some who will, but only 1 out of 10. And than to bother the other 9 with is is rediculous. And this all costs money, and you ask more money.
But at a certain level, it is too much and we have to look for other options.
For the die hard fans; of course not everything is bad and worse. I just get the feeling, that comparing to a owner of a hotel, who never have slept in his own hotel, could not know whats wrong with his hotel. And he will never know.
I expect that this conversation will be erased by the moderator. I can understand that, but at least I have ventilated my experiences, and you could make good use of it.
