TeamViewer crashing after entering partner ID

My TeamViewer desktop client is crashing after entering a partner ID and hitting 'connect'. It never used to do this and only started happening recently.
I've just updated to version 15.2.2756 as I thought that might solve the problem - it hasn't.
My OS is Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.2
