How can I remotely access a Mac from a Windows computer?

Hi, I am looking to get remotely access to my Macbook from a windows PC. When I try to connect I just can see the screen, but I cannot do anything else. However, when I connect to my macbook through my Iphone I am enable to open any app/folder/documents.
