How can one open all devices within a group simultaneously?

I can open all devices, and have them open in single window as several tabs but would like to select each one, or highlight each one and connect at the same time. Is this possible? it seems this should be a simple and easy feature but I am unable to select all devices within a group and have them open at the same time with a single click of 'connect'.
