Blank white box with the Team Viewer logo and wording in the top left corner only

Team Viewer used to work OK but it now only shows a blank white box whenever I try to install it? I'm using Windows 10 64bit OS and never had a problem before. I had completly removed it form my PC but had an HP printer support tech try to have me install it to get printer support and again once I run the instillation file as an Admin I just get a blank white box? I even fresh insalled my Windows OS and keep getting the same problem everytime.

    Hi @KSingh1964 ,

Welcome to our Community and thanks for your question!

First and foremost, please double-check with our compatibility article to see if the newest version of TeamViewer Remote is supported by your OS - Windows 10.

💡Hint: You can type winver in the Windows search bar, and a pop-up will show up with the info.

👉 After that, please try to follow our Advanced uninstall article to remove all possible leftover files that can be causing the issue, and reinstall TeamViewer Full Client from our website.

Let us know how it goes, I'm looking forward to your reply! 🙋‍♀️

    Hi @KSingh1964 ,

Thanks for your reply and for testing the steps provided.

    • Could you confirm to us if the device has an internet connection or if you're using LAN?
    • Also, do you have a firewall? If yes, could you please double-check if the ports aren't being blocked?
    • If possible, please check if the device anti-virus isn't Blocking TeamViewer too.

I'm looking forward to your feedback. 🙋‍♀️

  • Hello. I am using a LAN connection and I also did try disabling both my anti-virus and firewall software but, I still keep having the same problem. The white box problem happens on 2 different seperate computers!

    Hi @KSingh1964 ,

    Thanks for the additional information!

    Please try the following:

With the white TeamViewer screen open, go to the Windows icon tray menu, right-click the TeamViewer icon, and select Options.

On the General tab, you will see the option Incoming LAN connections, try to change it to accept exclusively, then click OK to save, and restart TeamViewer services.

Let us know how it goes and if these steps fix the issue. 🍀
