Reassigning hosts remotely

Hi

We are in the process of integrating two companies. As part of that process we seek to integrate our two Teamviewer deployments into one, but I don't seem to be able to find an easy solution as how to move teamviewer hosts which are scattered around customer sites around the globe. We use the hosts for remote support on presses sold to many different customers with sites located in many different places. We can not rely on the customer to take action to log out the host and log it into a new account.

Does anyone know of a way to remotely reassign the hosts to another Teamviewer account ?

The best practice here will depend on how you have deployed TeamViewer on your devices.

If you have deployed TeamViewer massively with the .msi package, you can reassign the Hosts via command line. Important here is that you decide which custom Host will be your "one and only" Host. You have to create it in Custom modules menu in the Admin settings.

If you have installed the Hosts manually and assigned them manually to several TeamViewer accounts, there is, unfortunately, no other solution than to manually unassign them and reassign them to the desired account.
