I have an older Mac running Catalina version 10.15.7, is there a version of Teamviewer available to run on this old system as Mac won't allow me to upgrade

    Hi @Olderpadawan,

Welcome to the Community and Congrats on the 1st post!

We have recently announced the End of support for macOS 10.15 (Catalina) in the TeamViewer Community. It means that macOS 1015 (Catalina) is compatible with TeamViewer v15.47 and no further version updates. You can download this specific version of TeamViewer v15.47.

For more information and download options for the TeamViewer modules, please check out the announcement - End of support for macOS 10.15 (Catalina) and Knowledge-Based article - Supported operating systems for TeamViewer (Classic).

Thank you for your understanding of the change to supporting macOS 10.15 and if you need any other help with TeamViewer, feel free to comment below. We are always here to help 😊

    Best,

I am using TeamViewer to assist my former neighbor manage her older computer, which can run no later than macOS Catalina 10.15 and TV 15.10. I am running Sonoma 14.5 on my machine with TV 15.54.6. We have been plagued by session time outs and I have discovered this posting which enables me to update TV to the latest possible for her machine. To test this, I used one of my machines running the same OS and TV as hers. I updated TV to 15.45.3 using the info above in your post. However, the sessions I ran to test this continue to time out after the "latest" TV install and reboot. This is contrary to the posting from April 9 titled "New updates regarding the free usage of TeamViewer 15" which indicates that macOS after 10.13 would still be supported for free use, that is, able to be used even though updates to TV are no longer supported for 10.15. How can we use this without getting kicked out every few minutes? Have you decided to force us to pay for the service at this point, even though your listings and posts seem to indicate otherwise? Thank you for your attention.
