Who handles TeamViewer's localization (specifically Finnish)?
I would like to know if there is a way to contribute to TeamViewer's translations as a community member (or otherwise). While it has been translated into Finnish for many years, the translation is pretty bad in many areas and there are a lot of strange word choices, contextual differences and terminology issues. It has either been done extremely quickly (with low priority care and quality) and/or by someone who is not especially well versed in related terminology and/or tech in general (or they aren't a native Finnish speaker). Simply put, considering it may be a commercial, paid translation, its quality is very bad. It works but it doesn't sound very good and over the years there have been several situation where I have had some trouble with understanding some settings and features, and I've been a TeamViewer (remote access) user for something like 15+ years (give or take a year or two), as a personal/private user and also as a small business user.
As for my personal qualifications, I have none in any official capacity (never cared much for any such certifications). I have, however contributed to many public projects on Weblate, Transifex and Crowdin, and I'm actively translating and proofreading things like AdGuard's apps and websites, AdBlock, Bitwarden and Kodi, and a heap of other stuff. On Crowdin Enterprise I'm also the language lead of Proton's (Mail, VPN, Drive, Pass...) Finnish localization community, I proofread Sygic's navigation apps and I've contributed to Discourse's localization.
I really do not have any interest to start sending correction suggestions to the customer service as many (or most) of them should be pretty apparent while actually using the product in Finnish, at least if one has have used anything else with similar terminology (which would include rare things like setting up and configuring Microsoft Windows...). But I would happily participate in actual process if that is possible?
