How do i activate my new laptop for Teamviewer remote?

Why do i have exactly the same problem every time i change a pc or laptop, it is impossible to get the new one setup. It ALWAYS makes me download first but then says i am using a free license - even though i am logged in and it must know that i have a valid paid for license!

I really despair, i have wasted at least 2 hours on this googling time and time again trying to figure out what steps i need to activate my downloaded Teamviewer - i even removed my old device so it could se there are only 2 out of the 3 paid for devices!!

HELP PLEASE!!

    The licensing issue could be related to your license limitation, for example, the license activation moves, or the activation set up on the device or account. Is it possible for you to share the exact error message from TeamViewer?
