Hi for many years we have had an initial TeaViewer host installer pkg and with the correct API code enabled the group association/ assignment and the easy access enablement via a Jamf Pro nstall script we could connect to the Mac and start setup after install.
We would then moved it to the respective locational group and all the IT teams could manage it accordingly.
We have been migrating to the newer device groups and have decided to set it up and use the device grouping rather than the user groups via script.
I have created a new Host installer pkg and assigned it a new device group, but once installed it wont appear in associated device group?
Do I need to add something similar to the API code via a script from Jamf after install to move it although very odd.
It's odd that the Design & Deploy assignment policy requests which device group to assign it to etc but then doesn't add it to that group? Am I missing something. Thanks for any help.
