You can already configure how TeamViewer handles LAN connections through the Incoming LAN connections setting in the advanced settings of your TeamViewer client.

This gives you control over whether devices should communicate over the local network or via the TeamViewer network.

The available options are:

Deactivate: LAN connections are not allowed.
Accept: LAN connections are allowed, while TeamViewer connections via the internet remain available as well.
Accept exclusively: Only LAN connections are allowed. Internet-based TeamViewer connections will not be possible.

If you are managing multiple devices, this setting can also be enforced centrally through a TeamViewer policy using the rule "Incoming LAN connections". This allows administrators to ensure consistent behavior across their managed devices.
