Parameter for connecting to a meeting?
Good day to everyone. My question is simple. Is there a parameter for joining a meeting?
Based on https://community.teamviewer.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/Are-there-parameters-to-start-TeamViewer/ta-p/4135 I don't think there is.
Our company is doing a daily meeting with the same Meeting ID, and it's a pain to remember it, so I was going to make a shortcut that included the meeting ID. I tried things like /h and such hoping to get a list of all of the supported parameters, but it didn't work. The -i parameter didn't seem to work either trying with and without the prefaced 'm'.
Thanks.

Hi josh_s,
Thanks for your post!
Below is the steps on how to get started using TeamViewer meeting.
1. You will want to switch your TeamViewer application to the meeting tab.
2. You can then "schedule" your weekly meeting.
3. The "M" in the meeting ID box cannot be reomoved as it symbolizes that you are in the meeting tab.
**Note. The Presentation, Video call and Phone buttons can be used to start immediate screen sharing, video or phone call.
4. Once you schedule a date and time for your meeting you will have the option to save the meeting invite for later use.
5. Once you save the meeting you will automatically be provided with an email template to send to the participants.
6. As you see in the meeting invite, it guides the participants to go.teamviewer.com which can be used if they do not want to install TeamViewer on their computer. The will need to choose "Use web browser version".
**If the participant already has TeamViewer installed, they can simply switch to the meeting tab on their application and type in the meeting ID.
**go.teamviewer.com can also be used on a mobile device or can download TeamViewer Meeting app on mobile device to enter the meeting ID.
7. Also, please keep in mind that if you are the person scheduling the meeting, you will also need to be the person starting the meeting each week. Otherwise, you will need to have other users shcedule the meeting from their account to have flexibilty.
I hope this is helpful,
Jonathan
